Instructors

Our school provides outstanding instruction and mentorship through its team of highly-skilled instructors. They have spent years devoted to training in the art of Kenpo and other martial arts, and enjoy sharing their expertise with students.

Joe Pazzaglia (4th Degree)

Sensei Pazzaglia was promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo by Grand Master Larry Tatum in 2009 and is also a 2nd degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate under 9th degree Black Belt Mike Campos. Mr. Pazzaglia has trained in the martial arts since 1983, and has been affiliated with Grandmaster Tatum since 2004. Mr. Pazzaglia has also trained extensively with 5th degree Black Belt Sensei Steve Holden and 7th Degree Black Belt Master Francisco Vigoroux.

Mr. Pazzaglia has had the honor and distinction of training under Hollywood action film star and 6th degree Kenpo Black Belt Jeff Speakman as well as martial arts legend and Bruce Lee’s number one student, Danny Inosanto.

In 2010, Mr. Pazzaglia coached and prepared 12 competitors from Fulton county for the Dublin Ireland Karate Championships. There were nearly 3,000 competitors and 19 countries involved in this event. All of the competitors trained by Mr. Pazzaglia medaled in at least one of their events. Mr. Pazzaglia himself took a gold medal in the self-defense competition.

Mr. Pazzaglia teaches seminars and workshops around the country and around the world. He is the President & CEO of The Professional Security Training Institute, where he works with and provides extensive training in Less than Lethal Force, Defensive Tactics, and Security Specialist training to Security, Law Enforcement, and Military personnel.

 

Mike KirbyMike Kirby

Mr. Kirby currently holds the rank of 3rd Kyu Brown Belt and has been training for over six years. Mr. Kirby plays a vital role in the teaching of our kids and adult classes and routinely helps out with seminars and demonstrations.
